We were very pleased with our meal at Timmerman’s. Our server, Will, was attentive and friendly. Everyone was served a piece of cornbread. So flavorful! The beef barley soup was tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. I got a hamburger and it was perfectly cooked. The other 3 got steaks, one was less done than requested, but not so bad enough to send back. Portion sizes are perfect. It was my husband’s birthday and they presented him with a free dessert: a cookie with a scoop of ice cream. This was well worth the trip from 1.5 hours away. We were in the area hiking for the day. As other reviews said, there is no dress code. We were perfectly comfortable in shorts and t-shirts.

Beautiful place, excellent food and wonderful service. Everyone was so friendly even though they were all very busy. The oysters Rockefeller, ribeye and shrimp were delicious and perfectly cooked. We live 3 1/2 hours away, but we can't wait to go back!

We always look forward to dinner at Timmerman's when we travel to the area and it never disappoints. We had reservations but arrived early so we could have drinks at the bar. Patty had reserved a table by the window with a great view. Not only was dinner superb (I had Steak Diane and my husband had the Tenderloin Tips) but our server, Olivia, was exceptional. We will definitely look forward to our next visit.

The food was fantastic! The Steak Diane was absolutely fabulous. Our server definitely seemed distracted or had too many tables because I had to flag him down a few times. We would definitely go back for the food and the atmosphere, I do want to also add that the food comes out pretty quickly which we thought was great as well.

We were on a date and my boyfriend took me there for my 1st time and we were given the best seat in the house. Our server was amazing and we had a wonderful time. My boyfriend even shook the old owner's hand. Can't wait to go back.

One of the best cuts of prime rib I have had in awhile. Great to watch the sunset over the Mississippi River. The drinks were good , service was great!

Easter Sunday Brunch. The view is beautiful at this old world supper club. Staff took great care of us. A holiday tradition like no other.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had been travelling for weeks and were looking for some steak and vegetables. Timmermans delivered . We enjoyed our steaks and the garlic mashed potatoes with Diane sauce.
